Season-scoped reward progression
Battle Pass is a season-bound reward layer. It does not replace the core gameplay loop, and it does not exist as a permanent always-on progression surface. Progress, unlocks, and claim rights are interpreted within the active season under current live policy.

Overview

Battle Pass is the structured seasonal reward layer of PVERSE. It converts player participation during an active season into tier-based progression, then maps that progression into claimable rewards across one or more reward tracks.

This page defines what the battle pass is, how it behaves, and how it should be interpreted. It does not publish final tier counts, point requirements, reward pools, or active seasonal pricing. Those remain SSOT-controlled and may evolve forward-only under live season policy.

Scope

Battle Pass defines the seasonal reward progression layer inside the Game Systems section.

  • season-scoped tier progression and tier-based unlock structure
  • free and premium reward tracks built on a shared progression axis
  • mission-linked and season-linked progress sources
  • claim behavior, expiry interpretation, and forward-only pass-state integrity

Core Model

The core model is that battle pass progression is shared across the active season, while reward entitlement may differ by track. A player advances through tiers by participating in supported seasonal activity, then unlocks rewards according to the rules of the currently available free and premium tracks.

  • battle pass is season-scoped rather than permanent account progression
  • free and premium tracks share the same progression axis while exposing different reward surfaces
  • unlock state and claim state are distinct and should not be treated as identical
  • future pass policy changes apply forward-only and do not silently rewrite historical season state

Operational Behavior

In operational terms, the system observes selected season-linked participation and translates it into battle pass progress under current live rules. Progress may be earned through mission completion, seasonal activity, event-linked participation, or other supported gameplay surfaces depending on the active pass policy.

Once enough progress is accumulated, the corresponding battle pass tier becomes unlocked. Rewards associated with that tier may then become claimable immediately, remain pending until player claim, or be delivered through linked systems such as mail depending on reward type and runtime delivery policy. Premium access expands the reward entitlement surface, but it does not create a separate season or separate progression universe.

Constraints

  • this page does not publish final tier counts, pass progression values, reward inventories, or premium access prices
  • battle pass does not replace the core gameplay loop or act as unrestricted direct power sale by itself
  • not every gameplay event must contribute equally or directly to pass progression
  • future pass rotations, reward pools, and seasonal rules apply forward-only and do not silently mutate prior season history

Integrity Considerations

Battle Pass integrity depends on separating meaning, configuration, and enforcement. Documentation defines what the pass is and how its structure should be interpreted. SSOT controls active season policy, tier counts, progression rules, reward definitions, and premium entitlement behavior. Code enforces progress accumulation, tier unlocks, claim rights, season expiry, and delivery state.

  • battle pass truth must resolve server-side rather than from client progress display alone
  • duplicate or replayed progress sources should not create invalid tier credit outside explicit policy
  • historical pass unlock, claim, and expiry outcomes remain auditable even after later seasonal rotations

Future Expansion

As PVERSE expands, Battle Pass may connect to richer seasonal themes, elite track variants, post-cap prestige layers, event-linked bonus nodes, guild-aligned seasonal tracks, and deeper integration with missions and live operations. The conceptual model should remain stable: battle pass is the seasonal layer that turns participation into structured tier-based rewards under authoritative forward-only rules.

Summary

  • Battle Pass defines the seasonal tier-based reward progression layer of PVERSE.
  • It includes shared progression across free and premium reward tracks.
  • Progress, unlocks, claims, and expiry are governed by authoritative runtime and season policy.
  • All battle pass behavior and season changes follow forward-only system interpretation.
