Glossary
Canonical definitions used across the PVERSE Affiliate documentation set.
Overview
The affiliate layer uses specialized vocabulary for referral identity, attribution, commission states, settlements, withdrawals, campaigns, rankings, and abuse review. This glossary exists to keep those meanings stable across the documentation set so policy, payout, and enforcement remain readable.
The purpose is precision, not ornament. Each term is defined narrowly enough to reduce ambiguity and to prevent affiliate traffic, attributed activity, settled value, and payout from being confused with each other.
Scope
This glossary covers core terminology used across the Affiliate section.
- Partner, code, attribution, and campaign terminology.
- Commission, settlement, and withdrawal state terminology.
- Leaderboard and recognition terminology.
- Anti-abuse and enforcement terminology.
Core Model
Terms in this glossary are written to match the staged and audit-friendly design of the PVERSE Affiliate Program. Definitions prefer operational meaning over loose referral slang.
- Canonical usage: glossary wording overrides casual synonyms elsewhere.
- State-first definitions: each entry avoids implying more than the term actually means.
- Affiliate-specific scope: words here apply to the affiliate layer unless explicitly broadened.
- Forward-only terminology: deprecated meanings should be superseded by new records, not silently replaced.

Constraints
- No glossary entry should be read as an economic promise.
- Terminology here does not override live ledger, payout, or enforcement reality.
- This page does not define token supply, treasury accounting, or non-affiliate program rules.
- When wording conflicts elsewhere, this glossary should be treated as the affiliate terminology baseline.
Integrity Considerations
A glossary only helps if it prevents category confusion. This page therefore favors staged operational meanings over vague referral slang, especially for words like attribution, settled value, withdrawable balance, campaign, and leaderboard rank.
- Canonical consistency: affiliate pages should reuse these meanings instead of drifting into casual synonyms.
- State discipline: discovery, attribution, settlement, and payout should not be collapsed into one emotional concept.
- Enforcement discipline: reward validity remains connected to conduct and abuse review, not only visible traffic.
Future Expansion
As the affiliate system matures, this glossary can expand with richer campaign, analytics, and payout terms. Any additions should preserve the same discipline: short definitions, clear boundaries, and affiliate-specific meaning that remains stable across the documentation set.
Summary
- This page is the canonical terminology source for the PVERSE affiliate layer.
- It defines core words for referral identity, attribution, commission states, payouts, campaigns, rankings, and enforcement.
- Definitions are intentionally narrow so reward validity stays readable and auditable.
- When wording conflicts elsewhere, this glossary takes precedence.
